DERMAL FILLERS
Close-up portrait of her she nice-lookin

Dermal fillers help to replace lost volume as well as improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and plump up where collagen has reduced and restores a more youthful appearance.

Dermal fillers are a gel like substance injected into different depths (depending on the procedure) underneath the skin. Dermal Fillers used at Brows & Aesthetics are premium fillers which contain Hyaluronic Acid this is a natural substance that is already found in your skin, this is what helps keep your skin plump and hydrated.

Dermal Fillers tend to last between 6-18 months or even longer depending on which area is treated and how quickly your body naturally breaks down and absorbs the particles.  HA fillers also contain lidocaine which helps to minimise discomfort during and after the treatment.

WHICH TREATMENT IS WHICH?

KISS/SMOKERS LINES

Smokers/Kiss lines occur as we grow older and we lose volume in our lips, along with the repetitive bunching of the tissue from muscular activity.

Smoking does not necessarily cause smokers's lines, natural ageing and the effects of the sun can also increase lines around the lip area.

Dermal fillers offer the most effective treatment for smoker's lines and they usually only require a small amount of volume.

For best results combine filler and botox as botox will help to relax muscle contracture, thereby relaxing the lines, whilst the fillers will soften the lines that are already there.

NASOLABIAL FOLDS

The nasolabial foldS run alongside the nose and lips.  These deepen over time and with age and also as a result of laughing and speaking.

As the ageing process continues the skin loses its elasticity and firmness and the fatty tissue beneath the skin sink down from the cheekbones.  As the lines deepen over time they turn into folds and make the face look tired.

Using Dermal fillers to inject in the groove between the mouth and the nose, you will see the fold start to disappear immediately.

As the filler attracts new collagen to the area you will see further improvement in the appearance of the skin and folds over the coming weeks.

MARIONETTE LINES

Marionette lines are also known as "sad mouth lines".

The drooping corners of the mouth can be genetic or a result of the ageing process.  Sometimes we see marionette lines appear due to weight loss. Due to the continuing loss of volume these fine lines become deep wrinkles or folds, these can make you look sad or discontent which is the main reason people are glad to be rid of them.

The treatment itself is a matter of minutes and you can see results immediately after treatment, although these will continue to improve over the following two weeks, so you will only ever look happy going forward.

CHEEK ENHANCEMENT

Cheek enhancement treatments help to provide contoured, healthy cheekbones which helps to support our facial tissues.

As we age our cheeks lose volume as we produce less collagen, bone density reduces and the skin on our face thins.

The non-surgical cheek enhancement and reshaping involves injecting HA filler into the cheek area to not only contour but to reshape and lift the mid face upwards giving a natural lifted appearance.

Hyaluronic Acid Filler helps to replenish lost volume and hydration in your cheeks area, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and giving a more youthful appearance.

  JAW ENHANCEMENT

Jawline enhancement is a well loved, non-surgical treatment that uses HA dermal filler injected into the jawline area to give a more defined jaw. As well as creating sharpness, jawline fillers are also great for reducing the appearance of jowls.

Jaw enhancement is popular with both men and women alike for the youthful definition that it brings to the face.

Jawline enhancement is also great for balancing a profile and is often done alongside chin enhancement to strengthen a weak chin or provide more definition to the bottom of the face.

CHIN ENHANCEMENT

A well proportioned chin has always been considered a thing of beauty and the exact proportions have been studied and defined by aesthetic practitioners.

Many people are unhappy with the shape of their chin and are surprised that this can now be corrected non-surgically and with very minimal risk.

A weak chin can be gently reshaped using HA fillers giving a completely natural result whilst smoothing unwanted dimpling giving a more you'll complexion.  Chin enhancement compliments jaw enhancement beautifully.

NON SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY

Non surgical rhinoplasty (otherwise known as a 'liquid nose job') is a treatment to reshape the nose for cosmetic purposes using dermal filler.

It is a highly popular alternative to having an operation (nose surgery, otherwise known as surgical rhinoplasty) as it is instant, safer than surgery  more cost effective, and involves practically no or minimal downtime, with most clients able to return to work the very same day.

Rhinoplasty can be used to:

  • Reshape the nose overall.

  • Slim, straighten the nose

  • Reduce the size of the nose

  • Increase the size of the nose

  • Change and remove the appearance of a bump in the nose.

  • Change the bridge of the nose

  • Lift the tip of the nose (Tinkerbell lift)

Tear Trough 5.jpeg

TEAR TROUGH
FILLER

Dark circles and tear troughs (the sunken hollows under your eyes) can both create an aged, tired or unhealthy look. While dark circles can sometimes be resolved with adequate sleep, good hydration and a healthy lifestyle, tear troughs are a much trickier problem to tackle.

Tear troughs, or sunken eye sockets, can be brought on by ageing as the collagen production slows down and the skin thins and sags. This creates small fat pouches under the eye and casts a shadow across the area. They can also be genetic, appearing from a young age and becoming more severe as you get older.

Using hyaluronic dermal fillers we can plump up and smooth out the area around your eye and the orbital bone (the eye socket), reducing the appearance of tear troughs and minimising shadows under your eyes. Giving you fresher, more youthful eyes and restoring your confidence in your appearance.
